Haight Ashbury

Just south of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park and a couple of blocks west of the park’s panhandle is the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets. The Haight-Ashbury district is noted for its role as a center of the 1960s hippie movement. The strawberry alarm clock may go off in your head when you try this bar “Incense and Peppermints”.
